I have £3.40 in my account which i could use to buy a tin of soup, a roll, chocolate and a can of juice - if i have the brass neck to switch it for so little.... £3.40 will barely buy a sandwich so soup n a roll will be the cheapest option leaving left over cash for chocolate etc!
Brass neck? I spent £1.01 in Sainsburys on Monday, 72p on poppadoms and the rest on rolls, just so I could use my Switch card! Makes no difference to them how you pay so don't be embarassed
75p for me - bread for OH's lunches x0 -
Today So far I have spent the sum of £0.
I will however be spending £10 on petrol and £15 to my father in law.
So it will be a £25 day.
I was ment to put £5 of petrol in the car yesterday but never did so its all not as bad as it seems. Why do people feel the need to keep up with the Jones's ?? Why do some people feel the need to out do there friends and family ?? is this real happiness ??0 -
Hi all. It's a 3rd nsd for me today, but that's because it's the 3rd housebound day, oh well never mind.
Tsharp, hope you're getting some cashback on that car insurance.
Pap, at least you did get a good bargain, look on that as the highlight of your current situation. It's bad enough being a lady, but to be ill at the same time is really rotten. You have my sympathies.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member # 593 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts!0 -
Tsharp, hope you're getting some cashback on that car insurance.
I tried that, all the quidco insurers had higher premiums, and the insurer i am with is on there, but a new quote provided a higher premium!
On a similar note, with AA cover, if i let it expire, then get it again thru Quidco, I should be able to get the cashback, right?"I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0 -
Hello, I'm going to spend 1.10 for a drink in the pub tonight. If I can brave asking for a glass or water instead it'll be a NSD!0
-
Brought in coffee and hot lunch so SHOULD be a NSD for me but I'm craving chocolate - again!
Oops - I remembered I also spent £1.30 on breakfast at work 82p on chocolate and crisps and a shade over £400 on contents insurance, light therapy and vitamin supplements
Tomorrow will be better. I hope.The 365 Day 1p Challenge 2025. Member #420 -

Hi PaP, and everyone :hello: :hello:
Hope you start feeling better soon, PaP - I don't like it when you're ill.
Anyway - it's another NSD for me - but that Chinese takeaway is only two days away. :drool:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
