It's for overpaying my mortgage 10% each January so next one just under 6 months then 18 months etc

... and how much will the yearly "over-payment" be?

What will the typical deposit be, and how often will you deposit?

Notice accounts look good, so you just deposit your lump sum then how do you give them notice? I would want the money for January 2020 so for 60 days I'd have to give them notice on 1.11.19?

Notice accounts usually action the notice period when you try to withdraw funds from them.

Gatehouse Bank pays 1.85% on a 95 days notice account.

Secure Trust Bank pays 1.74% 60 days notice, 1.64% 45 days notice and 1.54% on 30 days notice.

You can apply for all these accounts online.

Close Brothers have a 90 days notice paying 1.80% but you can only apply by post or phone.
