hi all, just wondered if i have a 300 quid a day daily withdrawal limit from hsbc. Could i get a curve card and increase this to 500 for example? 300 direct on hsbc card 200 on basic curve card? does it get around the withdrawal limit or will it say ive already taken 300 out on that bank account?
cheers in advance

Curve claim they are sending the required data through to the underlying card for the issuer to know it is cash but so many people seem to be reporting that cash transactions appear as purchases on their underlying card.0

It depends on how the underlying card handles it as a cash/purchase transaction.
I've used it once or twice to go above the underlying card limits with no problem.
do you happen to be with hsbc?0 -
If you can get your account upgraded to HSBC Advance, that comes with a £500 daily ATM cash withdrawal;)0

No, but as the underlying card is a Debit Card, you've nothing to lose by trying it out as they won't charge you for it nor will you be in breach of any T&C. The worst that can happen is the ATM says no.
Why do you need to withdraw so much cash in one go anyways?0 -
OP asked about cash withdrawals.
Not cash transactions.0 -

No - people (yourself included) used the terms "cash transactions", not "cash withdrawal".
They are 2 different things.0
