UC LCW Work Coach Expectations

I haven't had my decision yet but can anyone offer any guidance on what I should expect if placed in LCW group and not the LCWRA?

If your claim started after April 2017 then you won't receive any extra money if given LCW.

You'll be placed into the work preparation group. This group will be expected to take reasonable steps to prepare for work, such as attending a skills assessment, preparing a CV, participating in training or an employment programme, and undertaking work experience or a work placement.

What will be expected of you will depend on your claimant commitment.

Minimum expectation is to attend an appointment every 3 months, the rest will be discussed between you and your WC, who should tailor expectations based on length of time, the WCA has given you until likely to be fit for work and what you can currently do taking your condition(s) into account.

Thanks, both. From your descriptions I don't think I will cope very well with this group due to the level of social engagement.

Hopefully, I won't be waiting too long for the DWP to make a decision as I am finding the wait very stressful.
