Sadly my Husband passed away on the 3/7. They had changed his pip from low rate to high rate weekly following his diagnosis of motor neuron disease. His specialist filled in a form. He was weekly paid. They have put the money in our account again today. Will they automatically take back anything I owe them?
Thanks

Assuming you have reported the death the DWP will eventually ask you to pay the money back.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0

So sorry to hear of your loss. It would be best to put anything that might have to be repaid into a separate account so that you know you have it when the DWP ask for it back. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0

Thanks, we did the online service that lets everyone know. I have money in our account so they can just take back what I owe0
