ESA Severe Disability Premium stopped??

Hi folks,
Hope you're well. Can I pick somebody's brain please.
I have been on IR ESA WRAG for a number of years and was awarded a two year PIP daily living benefit about a year ago. With the award letter I received a SDP application form. I'd never heard of this top up but filled it in and thought nothing of it. I was then awarded this SDP as part of the ESA payment.
Suddenly, about a month ago it stopped and I resumed on the standard ESA WRAG rate. I have no idea why and haven't called them yet. At about the same time I received a back payment for a separate previous PIP claim after a successful Tribunal from 3 years ago. My HB was suspended too about a month ago. I called the council and they apologised and said it was automatically suspended due to new PIP info, I assume the back payment.
Any of you peeps have a clue what's going on? I have received no in for from the ESA office.
Much obliged;)

Ring DWP ESA and ask them. If you qualified throughout (no other adults living with you and no one claiming carer's Allowance for looking after you) you should be able to get SDP paid for the whole of the period you have been entitled to Daily Living PIP.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0

Thank you Calcotti for the valuable input. I do not have any of the circumstances you listed. It may have been an auto computer suspension, due to the info about the Tribunal and like the council situ, I didn't want to poke the bear just yet so to speak.
Thanks again for taking the time to bread and reply. Much appreciated. ;-)0 -
Only the DWP can tell you why this has happened and you need to speak to them to clarify.0

Hello folks,
Just had a thought.
I was just wondering from my explanation of my circumstances from the previous posts, I received a PIP back payment of about a year after a protracted appeal.
Does it make sense that I may be due an equivalent SDP payment for that period? All previous circumstances are pertinent.
Thank you for any imparted knowledge.0 -

Wow, easy tiger!
I was only asking. I fully noted the previous reply, my subsequent question was contextually distinct. I have no idea how long SDP has existed, the other claim was years ago. Plus they are always engaged and I have severe telephobia as part of my MH. Its not so easy to navigate around all these benefits hence the forum. Just don't know why they haven't said anything for 6 weeks.
Thanks anyway.0 -

As advised, you'll be entitled to the SDP for as long as you qualified for it, which includes those previous years. Only DWP can tell you why it's stopped. It can take them a long time to answer and i often find calling first thing when they open is the better time.0 -

Pop into your local CAB. Some CAB offices have direct lines to DWP specifically for advisers. So an adviser may be able to get you a quicker answer. But you'll have to be at the office to identify yourself (data protection)Unlike some here, I am not omniscient. If I am wrong correct me. I won't take offence.
