PPI upheld on a joint account by hsbc , two signatures required, only one available.

Hi all,
I made a ppi claim against hsbc for a joint loan taken out back in 1999 ( still had the paperwork) . It was upheld and a compensation/ bank details form posted out . Happy days .
On the said form two signatures are required, but we separate over 15 years ago, and have no idea where she is to counter sign .
My question is as I was the one claiming ppi and it was upheld , would one signature be enough to confirm the bank account details the ppi compensation is to be paid to?
Thank again all .

You may be able to get them to agree half to you with just your signature.

If it was a joint loan, they ca ask for both signatures, but as above, they may agree to only pay your half if you ask nicely.
