    I'm up and showered

WM on and I'm going to risk it and hang it out before I go to work, might try and get the other living room throw washed and on the line too.

I've sprayed the bath and will clean it all after my cuppa.

Going to soak the non slip bath mat and the shower curtain in bleach while I'm at work, they've both gone an interesting colour!

It is sort of raining here.

Valli, I misread currants for carrots, and thought what the heck is she up to making carrot jam!

  • I've done a load of washing & hung it on the airers.
Been out and done the food shopping bits, had breakfast out with my little one - he hoovered the croissant, going, going, gone.

Even though I'm not flying much, due to being away I still like reading along with you all.

well my colleague LOVED her gifts. And the carefully-chosen pendant and chain. I'm glad I stood my ground. She, Jo, got a silver pendant, champagne and a bouquet. And an easel and art supplies.

They don't like me that much, Valli. And there are tons of people going, some by choice, most by redundancy (the ones that didn't just walk out during the protracted process, that is). If it's over a fiver, I'll be doing well.

My raindance worked - but it took slightly too long, so the site has largely smelled of Wet Teenager for the entire day.

And, just as literally every other single member of staff apart from the caretaker left, I got an URGENT message telling me to set something up for tomorrow's assembly before I went, which meant instead of leaving an hour and a half early like everybody else, I was still there ten minutes after my usual finish time.

I am so glad I will never have to deal with this place again after tomorrow.

    Hi all

Wash on line, I put it out late as it rained this morning. It should still dry as it’s sunny and breezy now. Dailies done, bathrooms swished, just about to have supper. Won’t be doing much more this evening as I’m pretty tired.

Good luck vibes for those who need them x

The day ended up lovely and so my washing was dry when I got in from work.

The shower curtain didn't clean up as well as I'd have liked so I may need to just buy another one.

Thanks so much for this thread, it's made such a difference :)

Frankie.. try putting it on a hotter wash with a dishwasher tablet and vinegar ... it breaks down the soap sludge and lime build up.. I do mine loads

Thanks pigpen I'll try that next week :)

WM on, not much to do this morning as it's just vacuuming through and washing the floors for me today, which I'll do when I get in from work this evening.
