Seloc is my current kitchen unit choice,  currently installing their verona grey units <3  .Your kitchen installer will know about selco (trade card is required) . Let the kitchen fitter purchase and install the kitchen, less of a headache.

Purchased all the appliances (white goods) exdisplay, some graded and some brand new from The Appliance Depot.

We've just fitted a B&Q kitchen. The whole experience was a bit of a mixed bag..

The design process was absolutely fine, the person clearly knew what she was doing.

Had to wait ten weeks for the delivery but had work to do beforehand so not too much of an issue.

A friend who has a trade account offered to "add" it to his account, which was great but then B&Q initially insisted that the account holder pay for it. Transferred the money to our friend who was then told that we could have paid for it. This became tricky later when we had to return some bits that had been over-ordered as the refund went back into his bank account so he's now got the hassle of sending it back to us.

Two items were damaged and needed replacing. One item was replaced quickly and with no issues, the other was a major pain as it kept being sent out via a courier with inadequate packaging. Needed four deliveries before we received one that wasn't damaged - I had to persuade B&Q to send it via their own fleet to prevent the door from being damaged. Lots of phone calls. Then getting the damaged doors collected was equally painful. Also, B&Q only wanted to deal with the trade account holder until he arranged things so that they'd talk to us about it.

The units themselves weren't difficult to put together although a little time consuming.

But, I absolutely love my new kitchen. The kitchen we inherited was in excess of thirty years old and was a hotch-potch of odd units, all painted in green. We decided to go for a B&Q range that has glossy "slab" style doors so nowhere for dust to gather. No handles either - things hanging on handles drives me insane, especially wet towels so it had to be the "no handles" option. Soft close doors and drawers (but now we have six sets of standard drawer runners spare as soft close drawers are an optional extra). We have smooth, clean lines everywhere and it looks amazing. Plus most of it has a 25-year guarantee on it.

Would I use B&Q again? Not sure, as getting to the finished kitchen was an utter pain in the neck. But it's now an amazing kitchen which makes us happy!
