Blue Badge parking in London

It's very confusing if you have ever tried to find out where the free disabled bays/parking spaces are.

Nobody seems to supply a clear map of the streets where BB parking is allowed.

We are hoping to get somewhere close to St Paul's Cathedral. Does anyone know of any spots or useful websites? (TFL is useless, and the individual boroughs appear to run their own white, blue and red badge schemes and don't cater for the national scheme).

One thing that confuses me, some places (car parks, not specific on-street bays) say spaces available for BB parking. Does that mean that once those bays are filled, you have to pay if you park in a 'normal' space?

Parkopedia has a "show only disabled bays" filter switch. Use that plus "Street", and you're set.

Depends on the car park. some car parks you have to pay to park in a disabled space anyway, they are simply larger more convenient spaces.
Ealing let you park for free in any council car park, in any space except those marked as reserved for other purposes.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

BB parking in Lincolnshire is a joke. There are different arrangements in each District Council. EG: Northeast Lincs DC and North Lincs DC, if BB spaces are full, park free in any bay, show the Badge. East Lindsey DC (where I live) - ALL pay to park at the same rate, but BB holders displaying a badge can park for double the time on the parking ticket.
I think this job really needs
    a much bigger hammer.
