Highview Parking.

Hello all,
I hope you are well.

Someone has received similar Parking Charge Notices from Highview Parking. She is a disabled blue badge holder and has regularly parked there before to no consequence.

She appealed the charges and attached her Blue Badge. They emailed a reply to both charges stating: 'The representations stated in your correspondence have been noted and considered. Please forward to us the full name and address of the driver at the time this charge was incurred so that we can update our records accordingly.'

She is unsure of whether or not they are trying to trick her into giving them her name and her address, or whether they have allowed the appeal? She is uncertain of what 'The representations stated in your correspondence have been noted and considered' means.

Could anyone recommend a plan of action for the matter? Any help/discussion is appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

You just ignore that and wait for them to give up, or send a POPLA code.

Hope you used the forum template appeal and attached the blue badge, not write it yourself? The point is that Highview fold when they see the forum words.

You need to edit your post to remove details of who was driving

The ppcs monitor this forum and can use posts in your thread against you in Court

There's no mileage in the quote you ask about in your 4th paragraph.

Just standard wording used to mean they have read the appeal
  • Thank you for the swift reply!

At the time of appeal I didn't know this page existed so I'm afraid I did write it myself, which was a one sentence summary along the lines of 'parked here with a blue badge before to no consequence'. The blue badge was attached, however.

Where can I get a popla code from? What happens if I send a Popla code?
Should I send them an email with the forum template attached, with the address and blue badge etc?

    Thank you in advance.

You really need to read the NEWBIES thread now.

In fact why not reply sending them the NEWBIES appeal template to focus their minds on just cancelling? Even though you already appealed, follow it up with what you should have submitted. Highview cancel when they see it.

Easy as pie to beat Highview as long as the driver is not named/implied.

  • She will re- read now, my concern is she didn't know of this page before appealing so submitted her blue badge, doesn't this imply who the driver was?

You are not dealing with cuddly old gents in white coats, you are dealing with a company of wealthy scammers that want to get richer!

How on earth does the blue badge tell them who was driving, it is for use in any vehicle that the holder is travelling in nothing to do with driving!

Follow the advice given on here, don't deviate you will drop yourself in it!

    No, it doesn't.

If you knew what we know about Highview you'd be chuckling with glee at her luck in it being 'only them'!

Submit the NEWBIES thread appeal, UNCHANGED, yes, regardless of what it says.

Do not post things by Royal Mail of course. Not to a PPC.

Your OP needs more editing (assuming that the PPC have not already been told who was driving in the appeal)

Use the third party as in "the driver did this'/"the keeper did that'
  • thank you once again, she has submitted the template and is awaiting reply. If the charge is dropped, will there be an email confirmation or will the trail just go cold?

my mum had a blue badge for years

she could not drive at all, never , never even had a driving licence , even if she had owned a vehicle she could not be the driver on a public road

she was ferried around by family and friends , think about it !!

the reply will probably be an email , so always check spam folders
