PCN from CPplus. I’m the reg’d keeper but wasn’t the driver

The alleged overstay happened 11 days before the date of notice. I received the notice 11 days after date of notice... leaving me only 3 days until the discounted rate expires.

I also wasn’t the driver.

Any help with this would be appreciated.... even if it’s just pointing me to a thread/template etc...

Use the blue text initial appeal template (don't add or delete anything, use exactly as is) found in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #1 and more often than not CP Plus will cancel on receipt, once they know this forum is involved.

Stop fretting over the 'discount'. You'll be paying nothing - much cheaper!

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so complain to your MP.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.
