Ticket for Car I don't own

We have been getting letters recently(3 i think) for someone we do not know, after the latest one arrived we decided to open it and it was a parking charge notice. It was for a car we have never owned addressed to a person who has never lived at our address(we have owned the property since new) also for a vehicle we have never owned. Also if a vehicle had been registered at our address surely a V5 would have been sent to us, and we cant ever remember getting anything. Is it worth communicating with the company or just keep sending the letters back as Not at this address.. Thx

I would write to the company and tell them no such vehicle and no such person resides at your address.

As you have nothing to hide contact the company explaining their mistake.

If you don’t you will get further letters including from debt collectors.
Nip this in the bud.

Call the DVLA - they are quite helpful on the telephone - and check details with them.
