New carpet

Had a new carpet fitted in the lounge, new underlay as well. After a couple of weeks we noticed wear patterns on the carpet, not really where we walked either. We vaccumed thinking it need to time to settle in. It just got worse, contacted the store with photos, we are now into 90 days of wear. They said they would contact the manufacturer, and get back to us. 2 weeks went by, and nothing we again contacted the store, told will get back to you. Nothing again, so we decided to contact head office. Had a call from an area manager today, he said its normal wear and tear. How can it be normal wear and tear after such a short time. The carpet has a ten year guarantee not a 90 day one. He said he would come out and have a look
In a few weeks, but didnt know what we wanted him to do about it. We told him we discussed before we bought a carpet and told the salesman what we wanted and he advised this carpet as it was hard wearing, and for heavy traffic areas. By the way there is only 2 of us, no young children, no pets. Im getting very upset and agitated as i feel he is blowing us off.
It wasnt a cheap carpet £30 a our last one was only £6 and lasted a very longtime.
I am not sure how to upload a photo to show the issue.

Well if the patterns are not where you are walking then they can't be wear patterns. It's more likely with it being a much more expensive carpet than your previous one that there is a deeper pile and the patterns are just from the pile sitting in different directions.0
