Help Smart Parking

Hi I wndered if anyone could give me advice on if I should appeal a fine on behalf of my daughter. she only just passed her test and she parked in a B and M car park but went way over the allocated time. She didnt realise the parking restrictions (I know I have already spoken to her now to explain she cannot just park her car anywhere). The fine is from smart parking, I suppose my question is should I still appeal even though she is clearly parked for too long (about 2 hours)? All the appeals I read seem to have a good reason i.e just over the timescale allowed. With this clearly being over the time should I just pay?
Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance

Of course she should appeal. At the top of this board is a thread that tells Newbies to read it first. In that thread is a ready made template for you.
Make sure you read it and understand it though.0 -
Hi thanks for this I have read that section and know I have to appeal using the text as described in the template. In thes text it mentions having 20 mins grace but obviusly the time she was in the car park was way over the 20 minutes so there is no grounds for this.0

That is why I said read and understand the post. Send it unaltered. Do not muck about with the template.0 -

The BPA Cop tells you what the grace periods are in clause 13, and none of them state 20 minutes, so the longer the driver stayed the harder it is to argue
Signage and landowner contract are the 2 main points here, plus if they failed pofa then there is no keeper liability0 -
And no she does not have a "fine" you will not find that word anywhere on any paperwork or signage!0
