    Switch on the slow cooker so food is ready when you get in, and the obvious heat/lights in the winter etc.
    To be honest, with what people usually plug into sockets or things which are run by plugs in sockets, it's not going to be an exhaustive list..

    That's a great idea, and in no way sounds like a fire hazard :beer:

    Unlikely, i know, but you really shouldn't be leaving electrical devices, such as those that generate heat, unattended.
