Painting block paving?!

Can this be done? To change the colour?
I’ve done some googling but what I’m finding relates to resealing blocks to return them to their original colour. But what I want to do is change the colour.
They are currently the red blocks.
Ideally I would love to change to grey stone paving slabs but we don’t have the budget for this right now.
So wondering if I could paint the blocks grey for now as a cheaper alternative.
Does anyone have any advice?

You could use masonry paint.
I have used some on paving blocks to mark our parking spaces, it seems to be wearing wellI am not a cat (But my friend is)0 -
there is special paint available for garage floors etc but it tends to be more of a gloss finish0

The is brick stain that soaks in and will never wear off, could take 2 coats. it was used on a tv show to make a house nicer. Possibly "Ugly House to Lovely House with George Clark"
Its not cheap but its a something you can do your self. The most important thing is to do a test patch on a brick.
