Help needed please,
I am wanting to put my daughter onto the same photo as my father in law who died before seeing his 1st grandaughter and therefore I would like to do this as a present for xmas for my mother in law and have it put onto canvas.
Is it easy to do ao will I need to leave it to the experts, if so who?
Or is anyone out there able to help me?

No one answering, not being artistically minded would have a bash at photoshop and Corel KnockOut 2 but they cost £££

Its relatively easy to do in Photoshop, as long as the source images are of a decent quality and are simiarly lit and you have a have decent hand to eye co-ordination. I used to do this as a service, mainly taking ex husbands out of wedding photos or replacing them with Brad pitt.
If your printing onto canvas, you will need a good job, as the final print can and usually does highlight the flaws.
There are a load of tutorials about this available for free. You can usually find a 30 day download of ohotoshop on the adobe site.0 -
With all due respect, I think the fact that you are asking the question rules out you doing this yourself. I'm not saying you couldn't do it, just that this is the first time, and you have never used the software. And it is something you want to be right, cos it's a present.
You could try asking in a local camera shop, or camera club, or if there is a school or college nearby that does graphic design. Failing that there are companies online that will do it for you, or maybe someone on here has the time and ability to help you.0
