Minster Baywatch parking notice - Crickley Hill

*I've read the Newbie thread but I'm struggling to find what applies to my situation or find the template I need to send*

I've had a letter arrive in the post from Minster Baywatch for a £100 fine after visiting Crickley Hill (owned by the national trust). I have contacted the relevant management in charge of the site and they have advised that "The overriding of any PCN issued will be at the discretion of Minster Baywatch and we unfortunately cannot directly influence this decision".

I was parked for around an hour and a half but had no idea I needed a ticket as I didn't see a sign near where I parked. What are the steps I need to take in order to give myself the best chance of avoiding this fine? Also, what are the chances that I won't have to pay?

*edit* I forgot to mention there is a camera so they have footage of me entering and leaving

Thanks.

Did you miss the bit written in blue text and beginning: -
    Re PCN number:

    I dispute your 'parking charge'
It is in post # 1 but you have to scroll down a fair way, they are long posts in the NEWBIE thread.

Thanks for the quick response. So I just need to copy the entire blue text and e-mail back to the address given on the parking notice? Should I be wary if my e-mail contains my name?

If you are wary, why not create an anonymous gmail address especially for this 'project'?

I just wondered if it was a red flag sending from your own personal email or not. I'll just create a dummy.

I've had a response rejecting my appeal, what are my next steps?

Did they send a POPLA code with the rejection? If so, an appeal to POPLA is what you do. Check out the NEWBIE sticky post # 3.

Yes they left a POPLA code. The letter claims that if I appeal through POPLA and my appeal is rejected then I pay the full £100 not £60, is appealing the best option in my circumstance?

Le_Kirk's guidance in post #7 is good.
