Tumble dryer spinning but not tumbling

My daughter in law says her tumble dryer is spinning her sheets but not tumbling them. So they come out rolled up in a ball. It is an Indesit ,( do not know brand. ) She inherited it with the house when they bought it two years ago. It is in a purpose built laundry annex and looks quite new and large.

Anyone else had this problem?

Every tumble dryer I've used will occasionally do this, particularly when drying large sheets or duvet covers on their own.

Hers does it all the time. She says her sheets and duvet covers always come out rolled in a ball and not fully dried inside as a result.

Lighten the load in the machine and use a tumbler ball to keep the sheets from tangling together.

How is she loading the machine?

how good is the washers spin performance(% not speed)?

She could try different loading options after shaking them from the washer(you need to do this after a spin you can't just stuff it in the dryer.

the two option I use are scrunched up and a lose zigzag fold.

Sounds like it is not stopping and changing direction periodically which most tumble dryers do to avoid this problem.

You need to do the duvet cover up and reduce amount of items in dryer. She is overloading it
