Changing address with ongoing PE charge notice

Hello,
We have an ongoing Parking Eye parking charge notice dating from July 2018.
As we are about to change our address, I wondered where we stand with PE having our old address details when we're still receiving correspondence from them and DRP.
We followed advice on this forum when formulating any correspondence.
To recap the situation:
24 July 2018 – date of alleged parking offence. Payment request £60
6 August 2018 – payment reminder from PE
28 August 2018 – contacted the Holiday Inn where parking took place and their head office. Referred us back to Parking Eye.
2 September 2018 – appealed to PE.
12 September 2018 – PE rejected appeal.
11 October 2018 – appealed to POPLA.
6 December 2018 – POPLA rejected appeal.
15 January 2019 – received a Letter before County Court Claim from PE. Payment request £100.
7 May 2019 – DRP letter requesting payment of £170.
22 May 2019 – DRP notice of intended court action letter with request for £170 payment.
6 June 2019 – DRP offer to pay parking charge by instalments before court action.
We'd like to know the potential consequences of not telling PE/DRP our new address.
Thanks in advance.

Send an e-mail to the data protection officer using dpo@parkingeye.co.uk informing them that as and from DD/MM/YY this is the address for service and requiring them to ERASE your old address.0

If you don't tell PE of your change of address, then you could potentially end up with a CCJ by default
Make sure that you keep a copy of the email, notifying them of the change of address
Might also be worth writing to them, 2nd class & get a certificate of postage
If they then continue to write to your old address you will have them bang to rights under the Data Protection ActPrivate Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA0 -
Thanks for the replies both, much appreciated.0

Parking Eye signs leave \ lot to be desired and imo, many judges would agree, read this.

and enlist the support of your MP as they are obviously trying to scam you.
Nine out of ten of these so called breaches of contract are scams
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, and persistent offenders denied access. Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers.
Until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Do you have to inform both the parking company and the debt recovery company about a change of address?
I have ongoing case with UKCPS and Debt Recovery Plus - I think the debt has been sold to DRP so not sure if I notify both?
Thanks!0 -
