Do not rush this stage.
As I said earlier:...you have until 4pm on Wednesday 7th August 2019 to file your Defence.
If I were you I would leave your Defence here for critique a few more days - until say Tuesday or Wednesday next week.
Until you posted earlier this evening, this thread had dropped to page 21 of this board. To put it another way, there were over five hundred threads above yours in the list. No-one is going to look back that far for a Defence to comment on.
You need to bump your thread to keep it in focus.0 -
Remove #8 as that is already within #14 in the section about costs.
You have not actually given any facts about the car park or event, what happened and why you are not liable, which need to be in para #2. Surely you can recall the location, whether it was a free or 'permit holders only' or PDT Machine car park, and what the allegation actually was?
Tell us - and tell the Judge in para #2.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Can you advise, I have been issued a parking fine from Britannia Parking.
I parked at Charles Cross car park Plymouth and purchased a ticket. Two weeks after the visit I got a letter with photos showing me entering and leaving the car park but stated I hadn’t got a ticket. Luckily I kept my ticket and appealed the fine sending proof of my ticket.
However because I didn’t put my car registration in the machine they consider my ticket invalid.
Is this correct? I have now been told to either pay or appeal via POPLA but this means if I lose I have to pay the higher cost0 -
Welcome, but please delete this post, as this is not your thread.

Well done eshjie you came here only a short while ago having doubts on whether to throw in the towel.
Having done your homework you have produced a good defence.
Next think about your witness statement trying to remember the reasons for the PCN.
You seem to be on your way to beating this.0 -

Ok. #8 specifically highlights the additional "costs" though which I understand is the basis of the ABUSE OF PROCESS issues. Should I be more specific in #14 to point this out then or is #14 enough as it is alone?Coupon-mad wrote: »You have not actually given any facts about the car park or event, what happened and why you are not liable, which need to be in para #2. Regarding the incident, I see...yes I know the car park location, it was was a pay and display ticket machine car park, and I received the letters because the car was not displaying a ticket when the warden came to check. First I knew of it was when I got letters through the post with some photos of the PCN on the windscreen etc. I'm not entirely sure how to word that, but I'm sure others have had similar so ill have a search across the forum and get some ideas.
Thankyou0 -
