LOVEFILM account logging in problems

Not your usual LOVEFILM rant this one. Just a minor grumble really.

I've been with them for quite a few months now and got a very good service, good turnaround etc etc.

Then a few nights ago I decided to change the deal to have games as well. But I couldn't log into my account - eek. Suggestions from customer services didn't work - nothing did.

Has anyone else had the problem recently and do you mind saying if you're on Dial up or Broadband?

I'm still on dial up with Windows 98 as my Operating System. At some point in the future when this one goes pop I'll get a laptop but there's other things I want before that so I'm not in a rush to change.

Just wondering if anyone else on here has had similar problems.I was a bit gutted to have to cancel LOVEFILM so I bought myself a Cineworld Unlimited ticket to cheer myself up. It has worked so far:D

Oh yeah. My list still worked and I could add films and take them off my list etc - I just couldn't log into my account or change the package.

I tried logging in to my account no problem. If you want three months free with lovefilm. code is CCANWNRC7

You'd probably need to delete any cookies on your computer that relate to the lovefilm site.

When I restarted with Lovefilm I had a problem logging in. It wouldn't let me but I had 2 pieces of information on my PC (cookies basically) as to my log in details. I cleared all that then it worked fine.
