Recipient HSBC account set up to have £2000 payed in, and set up with 3 SO which I set up to transfer out £1750 in two chunks and £250 into the 5% Regular saver.

Transferring-out in two chunks is a good idea (to meet the two external SO's required). I'm guessing both SO's set up can be paid out to the same account, or for example, is it best to transfer out one chunk, then the next day, transfer chunk no 2? That way, there's no possibility of them being combined?

I think you've misunderstood the SO requirement for this offer. You need to switch an account with 2 SOs set up on it.

I set up two separate standing orders on an RBS account to two of my other accounts and then switched it to HSBC. Full incentive (£175) was paid within a week of the switch completing and before the SOs were taken.

No, I understand that. I was just querying that you could potentially set-up two SO's (prior to the switch as you've highlighted), but both SO's can be paid out to the same account SEPARATELY?

When I set up my donor account for the switch (Lloyds Classic donor a/c), I set up two SOs from the Classic to my Club Lloyds. That satisfied the HSBC switch incentive requirements... :)
