Wet Room removal query

Hi, I have recently inherited my grandparents house. Due to my Grandfathers frailty the bathroom was changed to a wet room with a walk in shower. We have a 10 month old, and so we would like a bath re-installing. Can anyone advise approx costs? The bathroom is fairly small, id say no bigger than 6' x 6'. Also, is changing it back straight forward, or does it require a full change in plumbing?

How often would you and your partner actually using the bath?
Could you get away by using plastic bath to washing the toddler?

Extremely difficult to say without knowing the detail of the current installation and what changes you need to make.
The main question is whether the floor is angled towards the floor drain, and whether you would want/need to replace it with a level floor and no drain. That piece of work alone could be from hundreds to over £1000.
The plumbing itself - buying and fitting a bath - could be quite reasonable by comparison (a few £100s) depending on the availability of plumbing and assuming you will retain the existing wall tiling.0 -
Thanks. This is good point, we rarely ever bath ourselves so it would just be for the little one. My partners approach was to just shower her once she has outgrown her baby bath (which is soon) however I have lovely memories of playing in the bath for hours when i was kid....so i feel like i don't want to rob her of that! Buying a larger bath like the one tagged may be the solution for now.0

I haven't managed to have the best look at it yet to see how the floor is angled, but i think it is possibly flat. I've certainly not noticed the floor slope etc, and as mentioned it is only a small bathroom. We are planning to re-tile regardless as the tiles one one side of the bathroom don't match the tiles which the council installed upon changing it to a wet room.0
