Hi members,

I sent the advised SAR letter to CEL (below). They sent back a signed for letter but it only contained the PCN and reminders etc (we are now up to a ludicrous £250+ sum)

Crucially they did not send the machine record - the parking lot logs entry and exit on CCTV and has a machine which issues a ticket when you pay a quid and programme your registration plate number into it.

I have maintained from the start that I paid for the ticket. And I did. The machine records would, I assume, prove this but they have not included them.

Can you suggest a course of action please?

Please supply the data about me that I am entitled to under data protection law relating to myself:

- ALL photos taken
- all letters/emails sent and received, including any appeal correspondence earlier
- A PDT machine record from that day, of payments made
- all data held, all evidence you will rely on, and a full copy of the PCN, NTK
- and a list of all PCNs you consider are outstanding against me and/or this VRN. Any claim must be for all PCNs in one claim, not several separate claims.

If you need any more data from me to confirm my identity please let me know as soon as possible. It may be helpful for you to know that data protection law requires you to respond to a request for data within one calendar month.

If you do not normally deal with these requests, please pass this letter to your Data Protection Officer, or relevant staff member. I do not believe that they use CCTV for this, those cameras will be anpr cameras

I would reply with an email to their DPO and insist on the redacted payment details for all vehicles around the time of the purchase, due to the fact that the ticket was paid for and so they should have a written record of this contract between the driver and cel

The chances are that an incorrect VRM was put in or recorded

You did not mention the anpr pictures so ask for them as well

In a nutshell, CEL are trying to scam you with fake figures.

The courts do not approve of scammers and CEL has a bad reputation with the courts

Anything above the parking ticket charge is ABUSE OF PROCESS

Just an update for everyone and to say thank you. CEL never did send me the payment details record for cars parked at the time I was accused of not paying but after badgering them for it as advised I sent a final email saying that if I didn't receive it I would make a point of saying as much in court.
The next I heard they had discontinued.
Victory for me and the wonderful members of this forum.

Hi. What email address did you use for the SAR with CEL? I'm trying to get machine records from them for a parking ticket I got when the machine had been vandalised. It's so much stress. Sigh.
