PCN response template...what to attach?

Hi all

this is the second PCN I've been asked to look into by a RK, I got the other one cancelled using this forum so am OK with much of the process, but this one is for incorrect reg input at the ticket machine. Smart have sent an ANPR-created PCN which I'm about to respond to, with the IAS template, should the ticket that was bought be scanned at this stage and attached to this appeal? I just wanted to be certain; the last one I challenged was for 'driver left site' so didn't involve any evidence such as a ticket.

It's quite comedic that the PCN doesn't actually state what the 'contravention' actually was!

Use the blue text template as is, nothing else unless you attach a copy of the ticket as proof of purchase by the driver, appealing as keeper

Do not reveal who was driving

Their NTK will have failed POFA so what happened on the day is irrelevant

This will be cancelled using procedures and principles and may not even get as far as what a driver did or did not do

Smart usually cancel when they see the Coupon-mad blue text template, so make them jump all the hurdles before any paid for ticket is produced

dont make extra work for no reason

if their NTK isnt POFA compliant, they cannot chase a keeper, end of

Thanks, I've emailed the site owners (I'm sure it's them anyway) asking for them to have it cancelled, so we'll see what happens.

    Yay - good result!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
