Spam emails

I normally get 10-20 spam emails every day and never zero. I haven't had one for four consecutive details, nice but any thoughts?
It's nothing , not nothink.

Have you signed up to anything? They might have passed your email on.

I actually had a few of the classics within a week recently.

Yes, the Blessing ones where the widow of the PM of Jamaica need to get her late husband's money out of the country. A different named woman who was also married to the PM of Jamaica needing to get the money out of the country came a few days later.:rotfl:

    I just block them.

I'm not receiving any spam emails, that's the strange thing.

Eitehr the spammers are temporarily not targetting you, or your email provider improved their server side spam detection.

Some types of spam do seem to come in waves - for example I recently had a ton of stuff from the .icu domain for a couple of weeks, but now it's died down to a trickle. If the spam you got was more varied (from different sources) then I would suspect that something has changed - probably as already suggested your email provider is now doing some/better filtering for you.

If you've got any kind of control panel you can log into for your email then I would be inclined to do so to investigate; when filtering improves it's nice to receive less spam, but you may also be losing legitimate emails that you would otherwise want to receive.

A few months ago I was getting overrun with !!!!!! emails. Outlook will dump them into the spam folder but that then conceals any emails that I actually want. So I had to classify them all to be actively blocked before even getting to the spam folder. Took a couple of cycles for it to work and looks like I will have to do it again as they are back.
