Hi,
Builders arrived on site this morning and I'm just trying to sort out our insurance (everything's happened in a very short space of time).
The builder has their own insurance (good limits etc) but we're adding a joint names all risks policy which will cover the building. We then just need contents insurance.
The contents insurance that is optional on the joint names all risks policy has loads of exclusions (jewellery, AV equipment etc) so is not ideal. But I'm also struggling to find someone else to insure contents only whilst we have an the joint names all risks insurance in place.
I can't be the first to be in this situation! Does anyone know of a suitable insurer?
Thanks very much

I used: https://www.thehomeinsurer.co.uk/ recently.
Found them to be the most reasonably priced for my building insurance. can transfer the policy onto regular home insurance once if its completed within policy period0 -
Thanks king132
For the record, I eventually managed to get the contents insurance via A J Gallagher0
