I have one of the Eve yellow mattresses and love it. I was sleeping on one about ten years old beforehand so anything was better than that but from the first night I slept on this I felt my life change haha0

I recently bought a Super KIng from Ikea which was miles cheaper than everywhere else and its well comfortable.
Looked at John Lewis etc and they had awesome beds but hell were they expensive0 -
I have recently upgraded mattress and base. Sleeping in many luxury hotels for work/business, many years ago, after a great night sleep in a NYC hotel, I bought my first “contract” bed and I am now on my third set. The first one was a pocket coil, naturally filled pillow top that was completely gone after about a year, so I researched the topic quite extensibly and ended up with my first Sealy Posturepedic contract bed, memory foam pillow top (never had the alleged overheating you are worried about and I do sleep warm) with sprung base that served me very well for about 10 years before now needed replacement. I have now replaced it with the equivalent new model, but unfortunately they only produce solid bases now (no sprung). I would like to add that in my experience the advantage of going “contract” is that in addition to a stronger product, you are more likely to get the real “brand specs”. What I mean by this is that “Sealy” for example is a licensed brand to the Silentnight group, where they can employ some or many of the brand’s developed technology (e.g. posturetech springs) but not a full specs product, while in the contract division they often have to produce the exact (or very close indeed) model supplied to a particular hotel chain worldwide. It use to be the same for Simmons bed produced by Sleepeezee but I am not clear if now that the latter is a new independent company is still producing Simmons bed under license.0

Bought two Hypnos firm mattress divan beds from John Lewis about 12 years ago after sleeping on them in Premier Inns whixh at the time boasted of their comfortable beds.
I have back problems and need a firm support which at the same time is still not hard enough feel like I,m sleeping on a hard rock. Have been very pleased with them. They are still nice and firm. We try and remember to turn them every year (upside down and top to bottom) and I think this helps preserves the springs.
They are not the cheapest mattresses but I think the expense is worth it considering how much of yiur life is spent lying on them.
Once was a guest sleeping on a foam Tempur mattress on a hot night. Never again! You need a spring mattress which can breathe and not retain the heat or you will roast !0 -
I bought Spindle from Lazada a year ago (which is latex). It was by far the best thing I had ever bought.
It has made such a difference and sorted out my discomfort and back pain. I recommend checking https://bestmattress.reviews/best-latex-mattress-reviews/ at least for comparison purposes when mattress-buying. :money:0
