Which company can help with reclaiming Catalogue PPI? If I no longer have account details??

Hi there! Hoping somebody may be able to help! Does anybody know which company/website may be the best for helping reclaim PPI from Catalogues? I had them back in very late 1980's and 1990's, defiinitely paid PPI, but no longer have any of the account details!
Has anybody had successful experience of claiming this way? Catalogues, such as: Grattan, Kay's, Littlewoods, Choice. I noticed a few sites online who help with this, but am unable to find any reviews.
Many thanks in advance for any help!

You use the company who sold you the policy in each case.
Write to them directly with your complaint.0 -
Thanks so much ZX81!
I was wondering which is the best site to ask to do it on my behalf (I was being lazy and hoping to do them all in one place, as I had about 12 or so accounts!) Also I don't really have the time to chase them all up etc. I don't mind paying 20% or so to a company to do it on my behalf. Better that than my never getting around to seeing it all through properly.
So am basically just wondering which company/site seems the most reputable and has the most success at reclaiming from Catalogues on the claimant's behalf?0 -
Don't use a third party. It's too much work.
You would need to fill out the forms for each complaint, send them back to the third party and wait for them to post them for you. It also lowers your chances of success, as they will add reasons that don't apply to you.
If you're short on time, send your complaints directly to each lender and save yourself some money at the same time. That way you also don't need to keep chasing up the claims company.0 -
Thanks again ZX81! I shall indeed take your advice and do that!
Many many thanks again!! :-)0
