Looks like the OP doesn't want our help; see edited original post mid-afternoon today, removing all pertinent info.
Let's hope that the responses have given her something to mull over . Admitting to oneself mistakes made is a major step in itself. Rarely is there a quick way out of a difficult financial situation.0 -

It's painful. I do feel for her.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I think the OP needs to take a serious look at her and her partner's spending habits. It may be harsh but it is also fact (most facts are) You make your bed, you lie in it. Only the over privileged buck this trend.
I have every sympathy for those who acknowledge their mistakes and little or none for those who don't.0 -
There was a very consistent set of responses to her opening post.
I think it must be hard to bear when there is noone even close to agreeing with what you genuinely thought might be best.
Hopefully useful food for thought though - I always hope in particular that the young families that are obviously working hard and building their lives 'get it' and make some good choices for themselves. I remember the young children years, they were tough.0 -
Agree 100% that the young children years are very difficult in every way, especially financially.
We’re in them now which is why I’m really trying to focus on our finances as decisions made now will affect the rest of our lives so it’s important to make the right ones.
The OP needs to understand that selling and going into rented is a disastrous decision and will have a big impact for a long time. Some people dress it up and some are more blunt. The result is the same. Unfortunately some only post on here to be told they’re right. Often they’re not.0
