Which cordless Vac?

I have a dyson which I love, but its too heavy for me to handle anymore, my cleaner has a job with it too. I am considering buying one of the lightweight battery cleaners. We live in a 2 bed bungalow 20 minutes at the most will deal with the wet room, toilet and kitchen floors and the bedroom, sitting room and hall carpet. The floors get done as each room is cleaned, so the cleaner does not have to tackle the whole lot at once and can easily be popped onto the charging doc if need be.

Looking at some reccy's please.

When I got it I put my Dyson upstairs thinking I'd use it up there, I haven't touched it once since getting the Shark.

ive always had a dyson. got the cordless a year ago and tbh, its not that good!! not strong enough, no place to put extra heads etc. charge only lasts 3 minutes on full power. ive got 3 big dogs and live in a bungalow

and still use a big normal dyson at least twice a week.!!

I've got a dyson animal I can do all my 3 bed semi in one charge,in normal mode. It last 20 min in boost mode. I kept my old corded vacuum but haven't used it in 3 years now except for in garage! !

I like the Dyson v8 animal. The Black and Decker cordless I had was worse than useless.

I have the same one, we have three dogs and it copes fine. The only thing I don’t like is the waste bit doesn’t hold much, but Dyson is the same.It has three lights that are blue and they go out one by one so you know when the powers running out,my lasts about 40 minutes per charge.
I went through Quidco to the shark website and found they were cheaper than the shops (they had an offer on) plus I got £30 cash back.

Peachy price, how long does the battery charge last and is it heavy to use?

If it's fully charged when I start I can do the whole house which is a combination of wood and carpet and fabric sofas, probably 20-30 mins when all the areas are added up. When I got it I didn't think the battery would last long enough and was going to buy a second one, but in reality it's plenty.

One thing that gave it the edge over others for me was the fact that it doesn't have a charging station, so you don't need to find a piece of wall near a plug socket to screw a base in. The main body is in my broom cupboard and the charger is on my desk. You can either take the battery out to charge it or you can be lazy like me and leave the battery in the hand-held bit to charge it.

It's very light and easy to use.

Before we bought ours we went to Currys and tried them all out, this was the only one that ticked all the boxes for us.
