When you say "villa" do you mean a unit on a resort like P&V or similar?0

FYI Amex are very good at siding with their customers regarding chargebacks (refunds) and the retailer usually has little comeback. Certainly in a case such as this.
Make sure you've got as much evidence as possible regarding what you booked vs received.0 -
We are not in the original villa we booked (shown on the sheet at reception), I saw the lady change the villa number. When we questioned this we were told it was given to another family who were unhappy with it
So another family was booked into the villa they've now given you, they arrived before you, didn't like the mouldy villa, complained and the reception gave them the villa YOU had booked? Is that right?0
