LOC received, but moving to Scotland

Evening,
I have tried looking, but couldn't see any similar situations to mine.
i am currently dealing with TPS & BW Legal with regard to a PCN in England. The vehicle is registered to an address in England and I can be contacted at the same address.
I am at the Letter of Claim stage, so from reading on here a claim is likely. I've been getting all my information from this website and I've responded to the LOC, but not received any response yet. I have not yet mentioned that I am moving.
The issue I / they have is that I will be moving to Scotland shortly. For all intents and purposes I can be "serviced " at both addresses as my partner is already living in the property in Scotland, but due to work purposes I'm still living in England for a short while longer.
I understand that it would make life more complicated for the PPC and their puppets if I was living in Scotland. My question is - would it be beneficial making them aware of my new address in Scotland now in the hope that will deter any further action?
Thanks

That is interesting, wonder what others here will say ?
IMO if you have a serviceable address in Scotland then BWL should be informed that this is the address to use
Scotland is more difficult for them as they will not know who the driver is ?
But hey, there is a lot more to BWLegal than meets the eye.
No doubt they have added a fake £60 to their claim.
Two judges recently kicked them out for ABUSE OF PROCESS

Will they attempt ABUSE OF PROCESS in a Sheriffs court we wonder, because they will sign a statement of truth and ABUSE OF PROCESS is far from the truth0 -
I say give a service address in Scotland RIGHT NOW and tell them you are out of jurisdiction. Write to BW Legal and email the DPO at the PPC (see their privacy page).
Also ask for a SAR but tell the DPO to ERASE (use that word) your English address from their data.
Don't say you are going to move there, tell them you ARE there, and if you have to borrow a friend's address to start with then do that for this purpose.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

If you can be contacted at the Scottish address then it is lawfully an address for service. I agree with C-m that you should tell the scammers and scamlicitors the new address now and instruct them to erase your old address information.
If they refuse, report them to the ICO. If they agree or don't object, send an SAR in a while to see if they still have it on file. Don't forget to set up mail direct just in case.
You should also complain to your MP about this unregulated scam. If there are any problems after your "move" you should complain to your Scottish MP as well.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Thank you all.
Just to bring you up to speed; I have already requested a SAR and received a response - the amount of information they hold on me is rather amusing. I genuinely do not think they would stand a chance in court. There isn't even a copy of the PCN.
I have already complained to the ICO a couple weeks back, but haven't heard anything other than their auto-reply. I understand this can take a long time.
LOC has been received with a strong reply given - I certainly did make reference to the abuse of process and highlighted the recent claims that have been thrown out.Coupon-mad wrote: »I say give a service address in Scotland RIGHT NOW and tell them you are out of jurisdiction. Thank you Coupon-mad. I will do so. This might sound cheeky to ask, but would you mind helping me word an appropriate sentence with regard to the jurisdiction? I can't think of how to word it and I know you're amazing with that kind of thing from what I've read.
Thank you all again. You're amazing.0 -

I would actually say, address for service, which is the expression used in the PoFA 2012 para 2.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -

Thanks beamerguy! I felt my comment was rather gender-neutral... Apologies if any offence was caused...I only questioned how to format the statement as C-M made specific reference to jurisdiction, rather than just to make them aware the correspondence addressed changed, but thank you anyway

No, C-m will not take offence, we are very lucky to have her dedication and knowledge which makes parking scammers squirm0 -

I would like to take this opportunity to point out that I, as Registered Keeper am now outside the jurisdiction of the County Courts of England and Wales, therefore I will be waiting for you to start proceedings in the Sheriff's Courts.
