Received a letter today from pps and bwlegal ref an outstanding balance. Now up to £160 as they add on £60. Car park on question I only use when kids have the dentist and pay the 50p but letter says no trace of payment. This is the first I’ve heard of it so do I contact bwlegal?:(o

This stage is easy to handle as long as you know whether you are at LBC stage, which depends on the letter.
The NEWBIES thread explains what to do and how to recognise a LBC.
You case is also exactly the same as the THOUSANDS of other BW legal threads. Spend the weekend reading threads like yours, and learn, because the 'charge' was not £160 and in 99% of cases, well prepared posters here win in court.
Be one of the well prepared posters who win. Get searching & reading.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
