UC Statement

Hi All. I have quick question to anyone on Universal Credit.

My payment date is the 12th and I am due a statement on the 6th. I logged in today and it isnt there, but normally is on the 6th each month. However, its a Saturday. Does anyone else know if the statements are generated on Saturdays or will it arrive on Monday?

Thanks a bunch x

Statements can be added as late as 2 or 3 days before the payment due date.

Depends on when UC complete the actions required to add the statements to claims.

If the statement is not showing by the day before payment due date, I would suggest calling UC.

If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.

It's auto generated so should be there, unless there is something wrong.
Check your to-do list just in case.

Not auto-generated for all claims. In addition to claimants to-do's, UC Case Managers might have to-do actions before the statement is issued.

Hence unless there is something wrong and to check to-do's!

Not always something wrong to cause a non auto generated statement.

Sometimes there is admin work required to enable the statement to be issued. Also the point at which UC IT runs the auto generate statements varies. It is not always done within a day or two of the end of an assessment period. As examples, if there is any delay in UC receiving the latest RTI earnings information or there is any system updates, then this can delay statements being added.

Suggesting that there might be a problem 6/7 days ahead of a payment due date, just because a statement is not showing may lead to unnecessary phone calis to UC, taking away valuable time for UC staff to issue the statements/payments. Always have to remember that thousands read these threads and not just the OP.
