screen jumping around

I have a small tablet and the screen keeps jumping around. Sometimes multiple windows will open, and sometimes whatever I have on the screen goes large.
Has anyone any idea about what the problem could be, and whether it is worth getting it fixed. The tablet is not high end, so any repair would have to be cheap in order to make it worthwhile. It is coming up to 2 years old, so I may just need to replace.
TIA

Try turning screen brightness down to under 50%
Or try a factory reset........... if above did not work0
