Visit Watts Gallery – Artists’ Village from Monday 5 to Thursday 29 August (excludes 16 & 23 August) and make arts and crafts inspired by the colours and patterns in their summer exhibition, John Frederick Lewis: Facing Fame.
From plaster cast shells and clay camels to embossed foil design and fabric collage, experiment with different techniques and create something special to take home. All activities are included in the admission price, with standard adult tickets £11.50 (under 18s go free).
Explore their collections, summer exhibitions and beautiful estate together by picking up one of their free, interactive family trails, including 5 Things for Under 5s and the seasonal Pursuit of Pattern trail.
Enjoy swings, stepping stones and building camps in their Verey Playwood, and play hide-and-seek in the Watts Woodland. Bring a blanket and settle down in the sunshine for a picnic, before indulging in a refreshing ice cream from the Tea Shop.
