Looking for Android Music Player with proper sorting

Downloaded Audify music player for my mobile, which works OK, but doesn't respect sort order from the metadata tags that I have on the music files.

I've set Sort Artist and Sort Album for all the files, as per;

Sort Artist - set to 'Hiatt, John' where Artist tag is John Hiatt, or 'Bush, Kate' where Artist is Kate Bush

Sort Album - set to 1983 Slow Turning, 1984 Bring the Family etc where Album is set to Slow Turning, etc. to put albums in chronological order

Track numbers - set to 01, 02, 03 etc

If I import these into iTunes on my PC, for instance, it pays attention to the sort tags, but Audify doesn't, and puts album tracks within an album in alphabetical order, ignoring track number. Pays no attention to sort fields either, putting Kate Bush after John Hiatt (J after K, where B should come before H).

Does anyone know of a specific music player, one which you know absolutely WILL sort the music according to the specification above, in a similar way that iTunes does?

    How are the files named? Are the track numbers part of the file names? (e.g. 01 - First Track.mp3). I use MP3TAG to change file names for me.

    I've set all the tags with mp3tag. Some have 01, 02 in the file name and title tag, some don't. I'd prefer if they didn't, and the player displayed them according to order of Track Number tag, not by file name or Title tag.

    I use Shuttle+ music player, which seems to work fine as regards sorting, although it may not do all that you require. It may be worth a look.

    You may have all the tags set correctly but it really is best practice for the actual files to be named [tracknumber] [track title].[extension] making sure the track number uses two digits. A lot of devices/software will sort on the filename so if you really want to make sure things sort properly get the filenames formatted as above. MP3Tag can rename files using the metadata for you so it is easy t do.

    Yes, I realise some/most/lots will do this, but I thought that was the whole point of my request; I'm looking for one that does not sort on the filename.
