CCJ Form!?!

InnerPeaceMop
Posts: 4 Newbie
Hi Everyone,
I’ve read the Newbies thread but just looking for some more clarity on my situation.
Four years ago I went for a drink in a pub near to a football stadium, after which I went to the match. Apparently this pub had a maximum 2 hour limit on parking (though I genuinely didn’t see/notice the signs at the time).
After recovering a couple of letters which I ignored I’ve now, four years later, received a CCJ Claim against me.
What can I do about this? I can pay the fine if I have to but I can’t have 6 years of bad credit on my file for this!!
Thank you.

Let's be clear...
CCJ = County Court Judgment
Have you received a County Court Judgment or a County Court Claim Form?
Like Waamo, I suspect the latter.
If that's the case can you please edit your thread title so that it accurately reflects your situation.
To edit your thread title:
1) go into edit on your original post,
2) click on Go Advanced,
3) replace the contents of the Title box with something more suitable.0
