PARKING EYE Grafton st multi storey Manchester - STAFF

Hi new here, I've received a PCN from Parking Eye, I appealed as I'd paid & had a receipt but they have come back to say it is unsuccessful, the only thing I can think of is the original PCN states GRAFTON STREET MULTI STOREY STAFF so I am now worried I parked in a staff spot inadvertently. I didn't notice any signage but as all the disabled spots have massive disabled signage painted in each space I would assume there would be something similar to alert I was in staff spaces?
I have just appealed to POPLA (10 minutes ago) but apparently if you appeal you lose your opportunity to pay the reduced amount £35 instead of £70.
I'm now worried as I think I must have inadvertently parked in a staff area (where it was really empty) whether I should just pay today the £35 & cancel my appeal or see what they say....

NO, no one on this forum will ever advise you to pay. If you followed this forums advice, we aim to offer everyone the 100% discounted rate. It is not your fault that their signs were inadequate or were not present, as a customer how were you to know it was staff only if there weren't any signs?. You paid for your parking time, its not like you just entered and left your car wherever without paying.
What grounds did you appeal to POPLA on? - did you have a look through the forums and put a comprehensive appeal together with as many points as you can fit in the appeal so that if they refute one point they have 8 others to work through alongside evidence showing how poor their signage and markings are?/.0 -
How strong was your POPLA appeal? Based on how you've written your post, I'm going to assume you did no research prior and you used the same appeal for POPLA as you did for PE?
Has the driver been identified in the appeals?0
