So basically you wanted everyone on here to agree with you, and now you dont like it that we are not?0

not at all. just find the attitude a bit blamey and unreasonable0

Not really. You didnt read the page as you admitted, and you didnt do any research.0

The advice is to do some research and read the page properly next time0

i wanted to be on the outskirts as i have older teens who might like to go into the main area for a night or two but well away from it for myself and the younger ones. the hotel i wanted was called olive grove resort which is further away than this one and is the one the reviews are about.
But even hotels.com say it's only 1min from Kavos beach, did that not make you think it might not be on the outskirts? And the beach party and disco in the photos didn't ring any alarm bells?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

Some reply pending about not expecting people to trawl through 85 photos :rotfl:0 -
The other hotels further up from the strip are all on the beach so no, that didnt make me think it wasnt on the outskirts as all the hotels along there are on the beach
There are photos of kavos strip on most of the hotels in that part of Corfu it doesnt meant they all have nightclubs on them. They are just photos of the surrounding area. Lots of hotels show nearby waterparks and local attractions it doesnt mean they are onsite?
I didnt come here to have it pointed out to me where i should have realised, all was not as it seems, i was asking who can i take my concerns to, if anyone. Looking back if i look really hard i can see where the clues may have been but ultimately, theres no mention of onsite nightclub which i think is pretty basic information you should give people staying at the hotel0 -
bradders1983 i think you enjoy forums a bit too much, bit sad0

Or, I just think people who dont do proper research are quite frankly asking for it. Good luck trying to get a refund but I suspect you are on a hiding to nothing.0
