Have you tried any of them? As I understand things, unless you can precisely emulate a non-rooted Android environment on a PC then pretty much no banking app is going to work.
Hence the comment was valid - it was a key piece of information you omitted.
What key piece of information?????
My original question was "Is it possible to install a banking app on a laptop?"0 -
Borrow a friend's phone, using your SIM if need be.0

Web forums and those who provide answers on them rely on information from posters of questions. If they don't provide any useful information they have no right to complain that the forum is "unhelpful". It's akin to going into a doctor's surgery and saying to him/her "I'm ill, can I have some tablets?" without providing any information about your symptoms and then having the audacity to complain about why you didn't get any medication.
In this particular circumstance you've asked "can I install a banking app on a laptop". This on the face of it seems like an odd thing to do, why would one even need to do such a thing when it would be far easier to either go into a branch or use the website.
Now if you'd said in the first place something like "is it possible to install the Barclays App on my desktop for the switching bonus, because my nearest Barclays is an hour away in Hogwarts and I live in <the middle of nowhere>", then the outcome of this thread would have been different.
TL;DR - please help us to help you.0 -
I use first Direct on my laptop, save the weblink into favourites on Opera and connects directly to my bank.0
