Software discount sites

I noticed that MSE doesn't seem have a listing of the main software discount sites. These sites typically run promotions on a handful of different software titles each day. Admittedly you can spend a long time waiting for something you want / need to come up, but when it does you can save a lot of cash.
In no particular order the tops ones that I use are:
Bits du Jour : https://www.bitsdujour.com
This generally offers discounts rather than total freebies, but the license you get is usually a full, normal license that will entitle you to upgrades in the future.
Giveaway of the day: https://www.giveawayoftheday.com/
This gives away complete freebies, but there are restritcions. The software usually has a limited "install by" window, and you may not qualify for upgrades later on.
Shareware on sale: https://sharewareonsale.com/
A combination of free and discounted software; again check for license restrictions but good savings can be made.
Another couple of tips for money saving when it comes to software:

Another couple of tips for money saving when it comes to software:
- If you've installed a trial and decided that you're going to buy, don't buy immediately! Wait until the trial period is almost up because you'll often receive a discount offer.
- If you already have a particular software title but want to switch to a competitor, always contact the competitor and ask if they'll give you a discount. Many will!
