SMART parking - LBA stage, what happens now?

I’ve always been told to ignore private parking firms so I have been doing, today I got a knock on the door but I didn’t get there in time as I’ve broken my foot but I saw a man in a suit walking away and this sent me into a bit of a tizzy.
You should have appealed and won as registered keeper a you can't be held liable by Smart, so you missed a trick!
Ignore them unless you get an actual CCBC claim form, easy to spot, and almost never seen in Smart cases. Easy to defend, one of the simplest.
Anyway what can be done that is NOT TOO LATE, is making a complaint to the retailer and get the Store Manager, or Head office or CEO of the store to cancel it. Very simple.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
