Solar power floodlight

Hi i am after a sloar powered floodlight and have seen this one but insure if there is better for a cheaper price. is is mainly for winter and to support my CCTV in a bit of extra lighting in close quarters. so the infered doesnt overexpose.

    Did you just want a standard floodlight? Then yes better and cheaper checkout bigclive on youtube he took a few apart.

    If you want infrared lighting that is invisible to the eye but lights up an area that the camera can see then thats not the unit you need.

    Just a standard floodlight as the infrared on the camera is too powerful at close range

    Made me think of a new invention - Solar powered torch for miners... think I'll be a millionaire by Christmas :D Probably they could use the existing light in the mine shaft to keep it topped up???

    Will the floodlight prevent the camera from switching on the IR LED's?

    Probably yes but then the system will also revert back to daylight settings.
    it was suggested to get a floodlight on a camera forum or a less powerful infared camera such as a starlight 2mp
