Plusnet I don't want to complete the contract

Hi all.

I am moving house soon, and I don't want to pay the £65 moving fee for the prepaid 1 year Plusnet broadband contract that I took out last November.

If I can avoid fees then I think my best plan is to just stay a new contract with another provider.

Does anyone know if I would have to pay a cancellation fee for the Plusnet service even though I paid for the entire thing upfront? I mean, I am cancelling my contact, even though I'm not giving them any less money...

You have a contract that ends in the future .
But have already paid the full costs .
Moving home then cancel contract and lose the balance now to November .
New home free to take up new customer offers .
Others will be more informed on the £30 cease fee .
  • You can normally see the early termination charges by looking at Manage Account > Account Summary in your Plusnet account.
