Hi all
Due to being gifted free company shares I have an online account with equiniti share view which I assume is just like any other share dealing platform?
https://www.shareview.co.uk/4/Info/Portfolio/Default/en/Home/Products/Pages/Equiniti-ISA.aspx
I am just wondering if I can use this platform to buy other shares and what the fees are like compared to other platforms?
I would like to buy possibly an index tracker fund and also a few specific company shares on well known stock markets.
Any advice appreciated.

Think you'll find their transaction charges are pretty steep
Better options elsewhere, I think0 -
Equiniti's charges are published at https://www.shareview.co.uk/4/Info/Portfolio/default/en/home/products/Documents/RatesandChargesIAISA.pdf and platform costs are easily compared at the likes of:I am just wondering [...] what the fees are like compared to other platforms?

but the fact that none of these tools refers to Equiniti probably tells its own story!
If your questions signify inexperience in investing, it's probably worth observing that it would be highly unusual for individual shares to be a recommended investing strategy for a starter, with highly diversified products such as global multi-asset funds being much more likely to spread the risk sensibly....0
