PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Is it a probate sale? If so, the answers may quite genuinely be that that they don't know.
Th other possibility is that while some of your questions may be fiarly simple, others may be a bit more complex, and the seller's solicitor may well be waiting until they have answers to all of them, rather than sending replies in dribs and drabs.
It sounds as though it is the sellers, rather than their solicitors, who are causing the delay, but either way, getting your solicitor and the agents to chase is probably the way to go.All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0
